About Us

Our Mission

The La Vernia Historical Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Mission is to research, record, recognize, publish, document, and encourage interest in the history of La Vernia, Wilson County, Texas.  Our goal is to accurately and properly preserve the truthful history of La Vernia, for this and future generations. We are 100% funded by donations, memberships, the sale of our publications, and the occasional fundraiser. All our workers are Volunteers; we have no paid staff.  Every dollar helps. Thank you!

Our Meetings

All meetings are open to the public, and guests are always welcome! We welcome the community to attend our meetings and learn more about local history.
